They are ridiculous along with the price hikes based on distance. If UberOne wasn’t free with the additional $15 a month through Amex, I’d never use them.
The fees on Uber eats make you wonder if you actually hungry at all.

What the actual…. Uber has charged me for UberOne although I’ve never subscribed! Weirdly charged in Euros - did use Uber in France in May. At first the email made me question if it was a good scam, but on the app there it was! Managed to cancel and get refund… anyone else experienced this?!

The fact that Uber locks you out of cancelling your UberOne plan through their app for two days when you get the notification that your payment is being processed and you actually have to call them to cancel feels so fucking predatory…

I just wanna say, again, how ridiculous it is that UberEats does not show your full total BEFORE you order. After your promotions, after your tip, you should see a final total and then confirm your order. If I didn’t get free cash and free UberOne through Amex, I’d never use them. Ever!

You can get 6 months of UberOne if you’re a gold member with Open Table. It only takes 6 reservations to become a gold member.
