Those of you who followed me on Twitter in 2020 may recall my lockdown project was building these hurdy-gurdies by Ugears. They were fun and pretty and technically do play, but they sound Bad.

Not stories for me usually. My brain ones got stuck trying to design a Macross style transforming mech model set using laser cut plywood, like Ugears models, and since it was ugears inspired it wasn't just transformable, but would have a mechanism so you just had to pull somewhere to fascilitate TF.
