The real shame is, it's probably going to be the stuff nobody else does that'll get closed. It'd be nice if a UKTV channel took up the slack as far as Three/Four go, but given UK Play quickly got the chop, I won't hold out much hope.

The channel was dedicated to gardening shows.
The channel closed in 2009 and was replaced by a new channel called Really.

Can't say I'm sad that there'll be no more Red Dwarf, a series that paased its peak in the early nineties, but UKTV cancelling all scripted comedy commissions is a real blow to an already near-dead industry.
