I did my 6th UMAAP last Saturday, I'd agree that it was nice to be in that space with people exchanging their insights and experiences

I completed my 6th and final UMAAP session this week with ADHD Ireland and ngl I'm going to miss it!
I'd really recommend for any adult with ADHD, even if like me you've done all the research and know all the "tips", simply bc being in a neuro-affirmative space is so refreshing and motivating.

I've applied to be an UMAAP facilitator and I've never wanted a job I've applied to more (never had to apply to be a psychotherapist).

10. for Irish ADHDers, obviously there is limited public service, but you can avail of adhdireland.ie/umaap/ Its a free 6 week programme for diagnosed or undiagnosed peeps. There is no gatekeeping, you can just sign up! Its paid for by the government!

I got a Dx aged 55. Suddenly my life story made sense. I’m managing severe combined type ADHD with stimulants and the tools and explanations that UMAAP gave. Life is much better now.
