I saw the Japanese box art for Contra Hard Corps and the way Sheena Etranzi was drawn made me suspect she might be a Yasuomi Umetsu design. Double-checked and the promotional illustrations for the game are indeed credited to the director of Kite and Mezzo Forte.

Umetsu will be directing the Yumemita anime, so I went back and reread her interview in the MyGO guidebook, where she talks about the making of MyGO episode 10. Cheers to her, and thanks for one of the best anime episodes
