I keep attempting a steel soul run and dying in a goofy way but at least each attempt i get further. This time breezed past widow and last judge only to get smacked around in the underworks

In fact, in the absence of plentiful megafauna, this is one of the major sources of fertilizer within the setting, the other being byproducts from Underworks fungal agriculture.
Speaking of the Underworks, their "plumbing" is not nearly as developed as that of the surface.

has anyone noticed that all the bugs the citadel oppresses(bilewater residents, underworks workers) are all really annoying to fight and so probably deserve it

I notice that Underworks, which primarily *markets* binders to cis men with gynecomastia but is often listed on binder rec lists for trans dudes bc well it’s the same damn thing really, is not on the list.

Anyone who comes to Zagnat is welcomed into Zagnat--their past erased, and placed under the city's protection. One need only move in. Wealth and talent are the only factors considered--those without either end up in the Underworks, where housing is cheaper, but are considered citizens all the same.
