ALT: Jada Pinkett Smith on Sister Love

An unidentified drone crossed into Moldovan airspace from Ukraine on September 30, prompting a brief 24-minute closure of central airspace.

Officers discovered several shell casings and a nearby vehicle that showed signs of being hit by gunfire.

Chatting to your friend over the road is about to get better than a thread and tin can ever could, or even a simple mic and speaker, as Uniden adds colour.

One of my earliest memories was playing with walkie talkies with one of my neighbours in the early 1980s. We'd talk to eachother, but then get really excited when nearby truckers would squark in on the same frequency as us. Uniden gets how fun that is, and has taken it up a level with its new Kids Video Walkie-Talkie, which adds video to the mix, all without Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity. The KVWT01 Adventure Series is Uniden's first video walkie-talkie. It pairs live two-way video with clear voice communication, and works over a range of up to 400 metres in open space. There's no pairing process to fumble through either. The device works straight out of the box, with a single push-to-talk button doing the job of starting a call. Uniden has thrown in a few extras to keep kids entertained beyond just talking. There are three voice effects to mess around with, plus four screen modes covering self-view, remote view and picture-in-picture. Brad Hales, Head of Marketing, Oceania at Uniden, said the idea was to add video without adding complexity. > _"Walkie-Talkies have always been a simple way for kids to explore, play and stay connected, and our new Kids Video Walkie Talkie brings that familiar experience into a more interactive format,"_ Hales said._"By adding live video without relying on Wi-Fi, a mobile network or an app, we've created a product that gives kids more ways to play while keeping the experience incredibly simple for parents."_ The KVWT01 comes as a two-unit set, so there's no need to buy a second one to actually use it. Each set includes two USB-C charging cables and two lanyards. ## Specifications Spec| Details ---|--- Model| Uniden KVWT01 Adventure Series Function| Live two-way video and voice calling Range| Up to 400m in open space Controls| One-button push-to-talk Screen modes| Self-view, remote view, picture-in-picture (4 modes total) Extras| 3 voice effects Power| Built-in rechargeable battery, USB-C charging Included| 2 x KVWT01 units, 2 x USB-C cables, 2 x lanyards Setup required| None, ready to use out of the box Connectivity required| None (no Wi-Fi, mobile network or app) ## Pricing and availability The Uniden KVWT01 Adventure Series Video Walkie-Talkie is available now for $69 as a two-unit set. * * * ### Latest toys and games deals
