#unparliamentary
Utterly juvenile and unparliamentary antics from Kemi Badenoch during her response to the budget.

Desperate, undignified and ineffective.

Saying "cunt" if you're an ACT MP: not unparliamentary
Saying "cunt" if you're a TPM MP: unparliamentary
Saying "bull crap" if you're a TPM MP: unparliamentary
Pointing out this inconsistency: unparliamentary

Lying about what another MP said: not unparliamentary

How did I know, before even checking, that the person on the Tory front bench told to stop shouting and withdraw their unparliamentary language would be Victoria Atkins? #PMQs

I know it would be unparliamentary language, but wouldn’t it be something if someone were to tell Pierre Poilievre to shut the fuck up in the House of Commons?

I just called my House representative and asked them to censure Nancy Mace for the use of unparliamentary language and to stand up for their trans constituents; if you're calling, why not mention it!

This is a really horrifice article in so many ways.

It smells of neo-colonialism and a frankly arrogant and exceptionalist attitude towards Europe and towards Spain in particular.

Let's count some of the ways.

(warning: may contain unparliamentary language)

THIS IS UNPARLIAMENTARY BEHAVIOUR 😣
January 7, 2025 at 4:43 AM
This is chilling - why was this not called out by the speaker of house as unparliamentary behaviour and warned if repeated these MPs would be expelled permanently!

How is the truth unparliamentary?

That insult was eventually added to the list of "unparliamentary language," which is forbidden from being used in debates in New Zealand. It also includes "idle vapourings of a mind diseased" (from 1946), "Merv the Swerve" (1980), and "energy of a tired snail returning home from a funeral" (1963)

It’s just ridiculous for The Opp & Dutton to argue that it’s “unparliamentary” for Dreyfuss to say the Opposition have been “politicising anti-Semitism.” And for Speaker @MiltonDickMP to give them any momentary succour that it might be. Question Time is political. Offence, humbug

The speaker ruled that those words were not unparliamentary.

it's like I keep saying, fuck "decorum" and "unparliamentary conduct." sometimes legislatures need to unpredictably become Jerry Springer episodes

Excuse my most unparliamentary language but there’s no comparison for a fat wanker like Donald Trump.
February 14, 2025 at 12:51 PM
The Canadian House of Commons is no model of decorum, but if an MP were to call someone a dirtbag, they would be summarily ejected by the Speaker. That sort of unparliamentary name-calling seems to be routine in American politics. It’s just a crasser culture, I guess.
Before calling someone a “dirtbag,” the Senator should have had his facts straight. An apology is in order.

Glad one of us knew the difference between the Atlanta Hawks and the Iowa Hawkeyes!
