And yes, Im really angry after a peer reviewer likely fed my unpublished manuscript into an LLM to generate a review and didn't disclose it to the press. Dishonest and unethical behavior is what gAI encourages and breeds.

This is terrible and should be explicitly against the policy of every peer reviewed journal. Reviewers can’t be feeding people’s unpublished work to theft machines! Come on now!

I have unpublished work from long long before AI, but I think people would probably just say the metadata is faked or something
I am glad I have proof of being a writer well before the tide of AI slop, I genuinely feel so bad for anyone who is up and coming or trying to break into art, people at the stage I was at 5-6 years ago when I was completely fresh and new must be going through fucking Hell right now.

I've heard it somehow even scrapped unpublished drafts too 😬
Additionally people are reporting that fics they posted to the anonymous collection show up on there under their regular account name, as well as fics they deleted years ago. Fuck these people.
