Urs Graf (c1485-c1528) signed his prints with VG. As per the standards of the day, "U" is written as "V". Although the signature of this lovely lady from 1525 has the dagger Graf commonly included, other works are simply signed with "VG". #woodcuts #woodcut #prints #print #ursgraf
