I'm not quite convinced of the usefullness of QRT art chains for visibility (my impression is that they get less engagement), but what's certain is that I dislike the effect on artists' media tabs, which become filled with work that is not their own and prevent getting a quick overview of their art

Yeah, there is a certain treadmill of progressive language where there will be a useful term or shorthand to explain an experience and there will be an corruption or trivialization of it's use, sometimes intentionally, to rob it of it's usefullness.
