Also yesterday, I worked on a thrifted #tiger plush with a missing tail and a ripped back. I turned him into #tora from the #manga and #anime series #ushiototora a classic from the 90s .

Tora is a monster, much larger than Mayuko. He looks somewhat like an anthropomorphic lion, with a muscular, lean body covered in orange fur with some darker stripes on his arms and face, a long, spiky dark orange mane, short snout and pointy teeth, white eyes with no iris or pupils, and large clawed hands. He looks angry, grimacing, hands hovering near Mayuko's legs as if to catch her if she falls.

This was the character design that inspired him, a kind of homunculus from the series #ushiototora, an anime filled with awesome monster designs, it’s one of those cases where an obscure character with a cool design stands out and becomes lodged in my memory even if thier appearances weren’t many ^^
