UXLibs was a great experience for me as it is a conference that took me outside my usual circles and networks. Didn’t know anyone at the start but the participatory nature of this conference means you have to get to know people.

Fantastic! You were correct in reassuring me that the UXLibs crowd are great for workshops. Feel very grateful for the opportunity to attend a conference that would normally be outside my usuals and meet so many new people.

Last week I delivered a workshop at #UXLibs exploring the potential of UX methods in information literacy teaching. Will share the ideas that we generated and would love to build a resource to support librarians in developing and using UX in the classroom.

Day one of #UXLibs featuring cosy murder audiobooks and knitting on a train, wanders and wrong turns (traditional at this point), suprise meet ups with old colleagues, thought provoking key notes on belonging and trespasser syndrome, ending with batting cages and crazy pool (I am surprisingly good!)
