> The commits from #3122 are in the UXP release branch, therefore they are in my release. How come Content-Security-Policy-Report-Only is still in the Response Headers of a .json URL then? It isn't there in Pale Moon anymore. * * *

Looks very cool! Awesome that you are including Basilisk, you should take a look at the UXP based email client also, Epyrus at epyrus.org. It is made by one of the Pale Moon developers and gives a very nice legacy Thunderbird look and feel, I think you may find it more fitting to your overall theme and appearance than Claws mail. * * *

> There are commits missing that should've made it into this release. Issue #3122 from three months ago being one. The commits from #3122 are in the UXP release branch, therefore they are in my release. > Given the just outta scope timing of the latest Issue #3192 which fixes up crashing, it would make sense for another quick fire stable build to address these. With that then you can probably call it for stable builds for the rest of the year. When they're in the release branch I'll push them out. I don't generally pull commits that aren't in the release branch. The ARM64 JIT in this release was a special exception. I probably will do one more release this year, been trying to mainly focus on major releases of UXP because I don't have a lot of free time. * * *

> https://ragtaghq.com/molecula crashes on a clean profile as well (windows 11, palemoon 35 - 64 bit) Seem to be the issue addressed in Issue #3192 (UXP)? * * *

I was able to reproduce on master. seems fairly straightforward. Issue #3192 (UXP) I'll have a fix for this in the next release unless there's a bigger problem causing the crashes. * * *

> Sorry, I conflated between the two. I thought JIT and WASM were around the same thing. So there are actually multiple types of JIT in UXP/Firefox. One of those JITs is specifically for WASM. You can't implement WASM without a WASM JIT, which I don't know if we have or not right now for ARM64. * * *

> Basilisk has JIT disabled for the aarch64/ARM64 architecture, and it's apparently because UXP it doesn't work well with the architecture. I believe you may have misunderstood something here. Basilisk is the only UXP application currently available with an ARM64 JIT available at all. It is enabled by default. Pale Moon will have it in a future release as well. A patch was recently landed to enable the partially-implemented ARM64 JIT support we already had in UXP's master banch. > But the new v35 PM release has full JIT support for the lesser used/known LoongArch64 architecture. This kind of intrigued me, I thought arm64 would be an easier platform for development. They're about the same in terms of development (although on a personal level I prefer LoongArch's assembly to ARM's). ARM64 and LoongArch are the primary two CPU architectures I use for the desktop at the moment. You can see the JIT support for each architecture I ship builds for here: http://basilisk-browser.org/download.html If it doesn't mention "No JIT" then there is a JIT. * * *

Basilisk 2026.09.24 has been released! This release uses UXP commit hash e59e88bfd5 plus a cherry-pick of 16c85079bb for the ARM64 JIT support. Please see the downloads page to download the update or the source code archive. This release introduces MIPS64EL Linux builds, so all 0 of you running MIPS64EL Linux can now run Basilisk on your computers. The autoupdate service does not currently support FreeBSD, MacOS, and some alternative architecture Linux builds so a manual update is required on these operating systems. See the release notes for more information. * * *

Preparse v0.7: * move <form> inside <td> (if there are multiple forms inside a table; still won't catch forms across multiple data or row); * recognise import "name"; * fix right click (only show domain item on our label); * localisation and Russian translation; * Iceape-UXP support. Thanks to yup for those last two. preparse-0.7.xpi * * *

> I recall hearing Basilisk-Dev say something about him thinking of updating ublock origin legacy himself. Not sure where that's gone or if he decided against it. I forget where I saw this on this forum. @Basilisk-Dev did some work on a uBlock Legacy code modernization recently, and @sinfulosd (who did the big Greasemonkey for UXP modernization) is looking at trying to finish that uBlock modernization work and polish it up for a release - https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.ph ... 12#p277712 * * *

> Preparse v0.6: > > > * add an implementation of replaceSync for CSSStyleSheet; > FYI, the upcoming Pale Moon and Basilisk releases will have replaceSync support. Wasn't sure if you were targeting all XUL browsers or just UXP browsers, but I thought I'd mention it. * * *

Thank you. I now have GreaseMonkey for UXP installed. I see it comes with a _lot_ of scripts, and I expect I'll find some of those useful on other sites. However I could see only two that seemed relevant to reddit logging in: 1) Reddit Login Autofill Repair: this installed but failed to make any difference. 2) One from 2018, Reddit Login Popup Removal, which failed to install: 'PM prevented this site from opening a pop-up window' > When you have GreaseMonkey going, download the file attached to this post... Unfortunately I can't see an attachment... * * *
