Asvine V126. Youtube started recommending me Pilot Custom 823 vs Asvine V126 and then sent me down a rabbit hole of smaller artist channels doing drawing reviews of this. At $26 on Amazon, i went and got it.

My new Asvine V126 fountain pen just arrived! I'm so excited to try this one out! Will it suppress my urge to buy a Pilot 823? Probably not, but I'm trying 😄
I won't get a chance to ink it until after work. I did take a couple of close-up shots of the nib, though, for anyone who is interested 😊

I bought the ASVINE V126. The reason I chose this one is that I thought it had quite a few transparent acrylic parts. It also has a good reputation.
I plan to apply a distinctive maki-e decoration to it.

Bought a $200 bolt-action, highly engineered fountain pen that dries out in two days if not used and a $40 Asvine V126 from Ali Express that writes perfectly after sitting idle for 7 months.

Refilled my Asvine V126 fountain pen with my first, and probably last ever shimmer ink, Diamine Inferno Orange, which I got in a random sample pack. It's pretty neat, I just don't have a regular use for it.

New fountain pen ink (fill) day! Diamine Carousel (Invent ‘25) in Asvine V126 with Moonman Flex nib. Nice warm red with orange overtones. We’ll see how easy this is to clean down the road.

Hello from the fountain pen feed! Majohn has an excellent flex nib (#6) for around $10, on aliexpress. I have it installed on my Asvine V126 and it’s really a lot of fun for not a lot of money.
