Spock—VCMG
Teaming up once again with Martin Gore after 30 years proved fruitful, with an album and two EPs. But this debut release of pure atmospheric techno was always their best for me.

Underrated album: VCMG “Ssss.”
VCMG = duo of Vince Clark and Martin Gore, the chief songwriters of different periods of Depeche Mode. (Clark early, Gore later.)
This album is pure techno and (perversely?) almost devoid of melody.
Extraordinary when you consider the catchy hits each has written.

Young MC is right. The Great American State Fair is Trump-backed and politically charged. It's organized by Freedom250, a dark money group the WH created to run 250 events without oversight by a congressional commission or ensuring events are bipartisan. Bust a move. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcMG...

It’s been 10 years since Vince Clarke and Martin Gore reunited on the excellent minimalist techno album ‘Ssss’. Hoping someday we see a follow-up.
