AU #4, prob not talked here but it's called Moonrot AU.

Possibly the precursor to CoF and based off of Infection AUs, this one focuses more on the nasty side effects of using Dark Moon Magic, with the notable symptom of it being rotting dough.

That's all of the AUs I can remember from my mental library.

I thought abt maybe revisiting one of these AUs and making art for it bc my fav part of it is not only the writing, but also the designs ofc 🙂‍↕️

They're all pretty (Cultist Fount esp) and they deserve a spotlight once in a while

Fount in this AU is patient 0 since he founded the magic art and has sustained more of its side effects (much like Milkdew with Flower Cancer) and his only saving grace is a nomadic blind healer that knows of a rare Vanillian flower from an abandoned Kingdom :3

AU #3 is a simple Wolf AU, where Fount is a Wolf Spirit in a forest that's enamoured with Healer Cookie and becomes his beloved "Sheep"

2nd was more of when I was into FountRecluse and the thought of TR using the time warping in the Spire to somehow intervene Fount's corruption but instead turned him into an Obsessed Cult Leader much like Doughael (which at the time was why ppl were OVER THE MOON with DougHealer)

I say 2 versions bc former was pre-doughael update and latter vice versa.

I didn't go anywhere with the 1st bc I built up so much lore that it overwhelmed me (and it was meant to compliment a story idea revolving Focalor's execution so yeahhh)

AU #2 is Cult AU, which has 2 versions.

First version is more of "What if TR was a member under Fount's Cult?" and the relationship was more of a Mentor & Mentee type.

Second version is "What if Fount became so obsessed with TR that he just builds a cult worshipping TR?"

I have a short fic of PV meeting Fowlnt written and I thought abt adapting it into a comic + continuing the story into a sequel (where they reunite but Fowlnt alr becomes Shamimi) but that didn't go through.

Also I just like, wanted to redesign Fowlnt again sometime... If I remember...

CoF ramble aside (it's just too peak)

So other AUs... uhh

First AU, iirc was Fount Owl/Fowlnt.
Jist of it is that Fount (and other Virtues) are repped as mythical/symbolic animals and Fount ofc is an Owl that can transcend into dreams.

Also bc CoF is a comfort AU ofc, I have almost everything written about it (characters, the hanahaki, some story, etc.) and it does have sprinkles of my own emotions into it so the whole thing is also a personal passion project of mine.

Most of these Fount-centric AUs are Fountnilla based (bc I was a SDVN fan first, Smilkcest later) and I sorta placed them aside in favour of CoF is bc I wasn't really vibing well with SDVN much (not bc of the haters ofc but the fandom itself felt chaotic)

Genuinely, didn't feel like yapping at first bc of a mood down, and I don't rlly Ike talking abt my emotions (specifically more /neg ones) on platforms like these.

*maybe* on occasion I'll talk abt how I feel abt fandom stuff but if it's depression or similar, I just keep it out of here.

I've occupied myself with an AU relevant comic (which I love to procrastinate on) so it's just yaps soooo
