There’s something very cool about serving up a meal from your own vege patch. Not a great pic but a delicious feed! 🍅🤤

I was getting a bit worried about my strawberries. All leaf, no flowers. A dose of potash and viola! 😍🍓

It’s a scorching 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees fahrenheit) in Sydney town today. My beefsteak tomatoes are loving it. Me, not so much. 🥵

Tobacco Cutworm… I knew you’d appear in my vege patch at some point. I was ready.

Quite odd… Just one tomato suffered from Blossom End Rot. The rest of the crop on all plants are perfectly fine. 🤔🍅

The bees are going off chop in the corn. Their knee baskets are bulging with bright yellow pollen...
The ladybirds are having a lovely time of it too. Such a joy to watch all the gentle busyness.

A couple of my home grown cucumbers have these white speckled stripes. They taste slightly bitter. I suspect I left them on the vine too long. Could this be the case? Any ideas? Has anyone else encountered this?

When I lived in a forest, I stupidly decided to fence my vegepatch to stop the wallabies. Little did I know the a wombat path was through the corner of my patch, and every night they continued to walk their path, wire fence or not..eventually I gave up and moved my fence to let them walk the walk!

a vegepatch garden would be so cute zik!

Heirloom zuchinni. I knew it would be wonderful and wacky but I was not prepared lol
