Honestly I'm not even sure the veiling flare visible is from the fungus at all. This is a copy from the 70s and the veiling flare on display is in keeping with my cleanest Olympus lenses of similar design from that era. These early multicoatings really don't like backlighting.

Are you really "embarrassed" that people don't remember her indelible work as "motel clerk" in IIHLIKY, a film which made less than 2M in the US? How much brain space are people supposed to dedicate to "girl who worked in taffy shop" in ANORA? Even for film nerds her CV is pretty niche.

Een sponsorloop en veiling in Espel hebben dit weekend 150.000 euro opgeleverd voor de toekomst van Sportcomplex De Bosrand in het dorp. Dat meldt de organisatie.Vrijdag werd de sponsorloop gehouden. Uiteindelijk gingen 218 unieke kavels onder de hamer, waaronder meerdere zelfgemaakte items n de komende maanden gaan veel dorpsgenoten elkaar weer zien bij de verschillende bedrijfsbezoeken, excursies en borrels die zijn gekocht.Aanleiding voor de actie was de aanleg van een nieuw kunstgrasveld. ah i’m not arguing with you, but i wouldn’t call that veiling flare. it’s not across a large % of the scene regardless of object placement. it’s specifically bloom along the darker edges of a subject

Because we live out in the countryside, we don’t see any of that. I was very happy with the delicious Halloween mist that rose up in the evening, veiling the lamps, but less so with the three+ fireworks displays going just beyond the horizon on all around.

There was in person too. That was extremely backlit, I used spot metering and a +2/3EV comp. What I'm getting at is I don't think that's from the fungus, I think that's normal veiling flare for a fast lens of the era, because my cleanest lenses of similar design and age would've done the same thing.
