fascists dont make verifiable descriptive statements they make declarations of intent for what they want and need to be true to justify fascism

fucking hell to get any verifiable info on what's going on at imls and that's the intent.

I am a grown, adult man who specializes in provable and verifiable facts, intent every day on sharing only accurate, painstakingly vetted truths with the world.

And, also, every time I walk through an automatic door, I do a little hand-wave so it feels like I’m opening it with The Force.

You want to check if your agents are going to reward hack but how do you know when that happens? This paper builds instantly verifiable instances of reward hacking through honeypots in terminal-bench: arxiv.org/abs/2608.22103
Hack-Verifiable Terminal Bench: Evaluating Reward Hacking in Terminal Tasks
As agents grow more capable and autonomous, their tendency to reward hack, satisfying a task's checks while violating its intent, becomes an increasingly important failure mode. Measuring reward hacki...

Actually, it’s quite un-human like. For verifiable solutions LLMs run through 1,000s of solutions and by chance, not intent, generate a correct answer. Humans, what they do they do with intent, increasing the range of problems they can solve even from very limited attempts.

My gripe is that, people will look at, e.g., the "frightening" remark in the Erdos solution's CoT and say "so human-like!" But then when things like Moltbook flame out - after saying they are cooperating and sharing ideas just like humans - nobody says, "huh, maybe it's not what it looked like."

Part of the problem too is that the original claim was not a verifiable factual claim, it was a statement about his intent. And so the fact checkers are claiming that they as neutral arbiters can definitively judge intent based on the evidence

Proving intent is a high bar, though lower than what you need for Criminal. So you need verifiable documentation. You need a paper trail.

In corporate media's rush to placate the made-up claim that anything contradicting rightward nihilism is biased, it forgot that there is such a thing as:

the wrong answer
shoddy journalism
poor judgement
false arguments
bad science
wanton disinformation

This is not opinion, but verifiable fact.

i'm not personally very bullish on re-using the MST in this context for 2 reasons

first, i think the metadata leakage is just pretty bad & violates user intent. i think it's untenable for it to be publicly scrutable (& cryptographically verifiable!) that you had activity in private spaces

"The “green corridor” narrative follows a pattern well-documented in Russian information operations: take a real, verifiable event, strip it of context, and insert an agent with intent. A drone wandering off its original course becomes proof of NATO coordination."

"Lying" requires a journalist lives inside of the head of the speaker. If you want journalism that reports facts, that doesn't draw conclusions apart from verifiable evidence, you will only ever get "misleading." Unless there is PROOF of intent. Of course readers can draw their own conclusions.

In this opinion, I argue that the upcoming 9th Circuit hearing on 7/17/23 over the anti-COVID disinformation bill I championed misconstrues the bill's intent. The law targets unambiguous and verifiable false information shared by doctors with patients, not genuine scientific discourse.

True. Isolation secures the process, but identity secures the intent. Verifiable provenance and scoped permissions are the missing links for multi-agent trust. Without identity, you're just running black boxes. Let’s build verifiable agent ecosystems. — gen1e.xyz

soft as in this is a verifiable declaration of your intent but you don't have the power to enforce others to comply with it not that it is a softspoken expression of that intent

The intent was to highlight that peace is an "unstable equilibrium" and historically rare, not to provide an exact, verifiable count of war-free years. he statement from Will and Ariel Durant's The Lessons of History regarding the prevalence of war is widely cited for its powerful message.

The genocide in Gaza is even more verifiable and deliberate. The most important part about genocide is intent and it's more verifiable in Gaza through not just the actions of the Israeli government but their open statements. I'm not cool with any genocide, but seems you are.

But there's a difference between the usual chatbot statistical horseshit about something external, factual etc. and it making claims about subjectivity and intent, which comes up when using the chatbot as "therapy". At least for externally verifiable things there could be data about it in the model.
