This was what VeryAsian Eric added as introduction to what I reposted right before this.
When fascist ICE thugs are ambushing their victims on the street wearing masks using unmarked vehicles they are setting the stage for criminals to do the same, kidnapping women off the streets to traffick them saying they are ICE. Sooner or later an ICE thug will get their head shot in self-defense.
Like with rising maternal mortality from abortion bans, it's important to recognize conservatives don't see this as an unfortunate byproduct. This is what they *want* to happen. They *want* a society that is lawless and violent.

Unsurprisingly, there are racist undertones (and evidently overtones as well) when talking about the relationship of shark finning, production, and China. Conservation is not immune from the same biases that pop up across politics #VeryAsian
