The general consensus from everybody that's giving me advice on this issue with my ex employer has been to tell him to fuck off and take this to court. However, court equals court fees and I need help with that. I can't even afford the fee for consultation at this point.

it's a bit of a stretch, but if exactly 222 people were to give a monthly pledge of $3 to my Kofi, I'd have enough income to not have to worry about having to deal with my boss
so uh, can that happen? I'd be very thankful

I've been sued by my ex-employer for over $16k, and the writing on the wall is looking like I'm gonna have to be paying it off for the next decade if my rebuttal doesn't work.
I need help, and I need a lot of it.

ex-employer filed a claim against me for over $16k, but it turns out it's a civil case handled by an insurance company, not a full lawsuit
still bad, even with the rebuttal I sent them in my defense, cause if it fails I'm in a huge amount of debt

I've reached the point where I'm applying for jobs that will physically hurt me (I have flat foot, so standing for longer than 30 minutes even with inserts hurts like hell, and guess what cashier jobs require).
I'd rather not suffer for money. 💸💗

I'm still without employment even after applying for dozens of jobs and getting no response (not even to tell me they're not going to hire me)
I cannot keep this up forever. I need more time to get any sort of income, and the longer this takes, the worse things get
💕💸
