Shatner is BRILLIANT in Airplane II, and features in the best visual joke I have ever seen (the videoscreen). When I first saw that bit I genuinely feared I was going to die laughing. John Vernon's great in it, too: only on screen for about a minute but his comic timing is incredible

I don't think that's quite the tone they're aiming for...
A website displays a warning that I'm blocking their adverts, using the main picture of the article I'm reading, turned greyscale. The thing is, though, that the article in question is about V for Vendetta, so the image paired with the phrase "We noticed that ads aren't being displayed" is an ominous 1984-esque screengrab from the V for Vendetta film, of the chancellor dictator on a huge videoscreen looking ominously down at his employees. This probably isn't the tone they were aiming for when they designed this.
