As someone who builds actually functioning vidgames, let me assure you:

Vidgames are getting so immersive that there's a real market for starship sims that can be injected into enemy ships without their knowledge, making them think they're battling a fleet while your solo lander docks and boards

25 minutes to the charger, sit for one hour in a Swiss Chalet parking lot awkwardly playing vidgames (despite advertising fast charge), then 25 minutes back. Charging where we were staying didn't work as it was off grid on solar panels.

I knew I was different at a young age like kindergarten or so, but fully clocking I didn't like girls was prolly around the 4th grade.
Neighborhood kids and I had a fort behind the shopping plaza and there was a stash of porno, we were like 9-12. I couldn't relate and just wanted to play vidgames.

apparently it was initially developed as an FMV game, which is bonkers, but then it got shelved due to lockdowns and then almost got scrapped when the vidgames industry layoffs started until Critical Role stepped in and started bankrolling most of it as well as voicing a bunch of characters
