I am extremely extremely sympathetic to this viewpoint and agree we should do it. Politically though, we seem tied to capex in the worst possible industries
Making it all the more peculiar why Canada's jobs strategy is so heavy on resources & manufacturing and our record on services exports is among the most dismal in the OECD.

People who call themselves liberal need to take a hard look at themselves to figure out why they consider the view that wiping Muslims and Palestinians out of existence is a "moderate" viewpoint.

... critics do not pick on business schools because business schools replicate the socially dominant ideology. They crank out little authoritarians who view selfishness as a virtue & see the whole world divided into exploiters & exploited.

Quite aside from the bizarre comments on climate, the one on "duty to truth, but also to political impartiality" speaks volumes. So if one side speaks the truth and the other lies, there's a BBC duty to both-sides it? (I mean, I know they routinely do that anyway, but on this basis?)
