Manasota Beach Road drawbridge. Englewood, Florida. Shot with my grandfather's Kodak Jiffy camera, a folding camera that was sold from 1934 to 1937.

A black and white photo of a long bridge. The foreground is sandy ground with some grass or weeds, some brush on the left and the right, and a picnic table on the left (difficult to see because it is dark with a dark background). The near end of the bridge is on the left, and the far end on the right. There is an arch on the left, a short tower structure near the middle, and more closely spaced support structures under the further portion of the bridge. There are some trees in the background at the far end of the bridge. The sky is mostly clear, with a streak across it, likely the trail from a jet. The photo is a bit hazy, and has a nostalgic look.

Black and white photograph of a bridge over a fairly large amount of water. The near end of the bridge is to the left of the frame. The bridge is fairly long and the far end of the bridge is near the right side of the frame. There is a small structure in the center of the bridge, and there are some poles, signs, and a traffic light above the bridge. In the distance and in the right side of the frame is a building. The water is mostly still, but ripples can be seen on the surface. The sky appears to be clear. The photograph is rather grainy and low in contrast, as if it were a very old photograph.

Rookie mistake. I started taking photos with my Nikon camera only to have a message coming up on the screen telling me that I didn’t have a memory card installed. So here’s a photo taken earlier today from my iPhone.
