Caro - Returning to innocence
Atmospheric, blending mid-tempo pop, subtle electronics and rock influences, all held together by powerful vocals. And an unexpectedly bold and striking cover. A record full of mood and character.

Having a loud blast of 'From the Dark' the excellent new album by Iommi. Loads of heavy riffage from #TonyIommi great to have him back at 78. And great vocals by #JornLande nice red and black marble vinyl too 👌

Always nice to revisit an older album by an artist. The pace is pretty relentless throughout their third album in just 13 months. Bought it for The Chinese Way to be honest.

Sometimes albums slip out of sight for one reason or another. It came back to mind after watching the Eagles docu. Beautiful title track, Heart of the Matter, and New York Minute.

Bryan Adams - Into the fire
In my opinion, this is Bryan Adams' best album. The songs became compositions, but unfortunately the general public didn't agree. After hearing Native Son, I was truly hooked on Bryan Adams.

According to my daughter, one of the highlights of Lowlands 2026. I love it—funky, synthpop, emotional, and raw distorted vocals. Totally different from what I’m used to, but I’m really enjoying it.

Another souvenir from Materiale Resistente (Via PO 25), Turin. I’ve always had a soft spot for Tina, so I'm happy with this purchase. Transporting it at 40°C/104°F is nerve-wracking.

James Murphy and LCD Soundsystem have a new album coming out in 2025. This should be in everyone’s collection.
We maybe realize what it is we need before we die
And luck is always better than skill at things
We're flying blind
Oh good gracious
I sound like my mom

UB40 - More UB40 Music
Often, you have to admit that an artist’s early work is their best. That’s definitely true for UB40. I was a loyal collector up until Rat in the Kitchen. But those first albums were truly great.
