There's such a huge gap in my mind between destruction of property & vioence, whether physical or emotional, to living beings. Really upsets me when vandalism is characterized as "violence."

It's also worth putting it in the context of it's medium and genre, particularly as a bioware CRPG, where they've always been about playing the person gets a special dispensation to do vioence. It's just kinda funny that Baldur's Gate 1&2 were already critical of that a full decade before.
