2021 art of needletail and violetpaw

#warriorcats #warriors
A digital drawing of Needletail, a light gray she-cat, sitting beside Violetpaw, a smaller, younger white she-cat with black spots. Needletail is seen blepping playfully, whereas Violetpaw observes intently. Both characters are from Erin Hunter's Warriors series. I just became aware that in 2017 my daughter (age 12 at the tame) left a SCATHING review of a Warrior Cats book using my Amazon account

"This series is getting worse every book. Worse than even power of three."

" Violetpaw is a diva." - Geoff Krall
Oh boy. I'm gonna rant. This series is getting worse every book. Worse than even power of three. I liked the first and second, but let's be honest. The others were let downs. Alderheart was like my favorite character but then he started to get to be whiney and irresponsible. I miss his character and how he was before. Jayfeather is now just a boring side character that whines once and awhile. No one cares about the previous arc in this series! Twigpaw is cute and awesome! But then in darkest night she's just another filler character. Violetpaw is a diva. Rowanstar/claw is such a bad leader and should care more about everything. Not to mention the warrior code has been destroyed and not even used anymore. Starclan has like no relevance anymore and totally let's other cats figure it out. And, I hate to say this, but they need to kill off some characters. Bramblestar squirrelflight leafpool and many more could be killed off. Mistystar is SO old! So is graystripe. Come on Erins! They gave u

Finished “Warriors: Thunder and Shadow”: Needletail is so fun, a breath of fresh air in what is otherwise a stifling cast. Violetpaw is wonderfully angsty, the politics are tasty, and the drama is high-stakes in a fun cat peril sort of way. Such an improvement compared to book 1!
The book’s cover, featuring a grey tabby (Needletail) and a black and white cat (Violetpaw) Erin Hunter’s #1 bestselling Warriors series continues with the second book in the A Vision of Shadows arc. Nearly a moon has passed since Alderpaw returned from his journey to SkyClan’s gorge, where he found the territory taken over by rogues. Now the same vicious cats that drove out SkyClan have traced Alderpaw’s path back to the lake… and ShadowClan may be the next to fall. Full of epic adventure and thrilling intrigue, this fifth Warriors series is the perfect introduction for readers new to the Warriors world—while for dedicated fans, it’s a long-awaited return to the era of Bramblestar’s ThunderClan, after the events of Omen of the Stars.

I’m not thaaat interested in Violetpaw. I do enjoy Twigpaw and her cheery attitude though and I think Alderheart is a precious bean. Glad Darktail ate it, was giving me Scourge vibes tbh. Waiting for Dovewing to have Tigerheart’s kits lol

Au where Darktail is actually twigbranch and violetshines dad (rereading shattered sky and it would explain why he's so fond of violetpaw and it would be ironic since twigpaw goes out to look for their dad. Plus violetshine looks so much like him)
