Afi is tolerable. Her insecurity and anxiety make her a people-pleaser which is off-putting. She worries too much about what others think of her, and her shyness makes her frustrating to deal with. But when she relaxes and actually lets herself *be* herself, she can be quite likeable.

First image: Afi stands alone outside the Thaumaturges Guild, in the the rain. Second image. Garthrite joins her, holding an umbrella over Afi. A bird's eye view of the umbrella. The same image as above, but slightly zoomed in. First image: A closer view of Garthrite's smile. It is gentle and kind. Second image: The smile becomes a dark smirk, implying this gesture with the parasol is not a simple act of kindness...

Afi's mother, Nana Abena Abeyie, is the daughter of the Ohemmaa of her village on the edge of Dalmasca. She fled the continent once Garlemald seized the nation. While she briefly took refuge in the Ruby Sea, she eventually made her way to Eorzea where she raised her two daughters.

An image of Nana Abena Abeyie, Afi's mother. An Au Ra with brown skin, braided hair, and brown eyes with orange limbal rings glowing faintly. She's wearing a black dress with detailed brass decorations. Another image of Nana Abena, with a closer view of her face and upper torso.

time to go all out, writers. what themes do you explore in your WoL/OCs character?

for example; aurora tackles themes of femininity, motherhood, womanhood, (in some cases) religion. For me when i make decisions as small as gender it can completely alter how I write a character!!

Proper Form
#gpose | #voidspells | #afi
Garthrite, a pale Hyur woman, guides Afi's stance in a lesson. The two stand together in a well lit library sanctum. Garthrite holds one hand under Afi's as support, while the other hovers just over Afi's shoulder. Text bubble - Garthrite: "Back straight. Loosen your wrist. Proper posture is vital."

Pull of the Void
#gpose | #afi | #voidspells
Afi clutches her head with an expression of fear, as two figures loom behind her. The first figure on the left, a pale Hyur woman, glares down at Afi while cradling her hands around Afi's head in a possessive manner. Behind her, on the right, a succubus emerges from the dark and grips Afi's shoulder. Her smiling face is half-hidden by the Hyur.
