Statistikat e Policisë së Kosovës dëshmojnë një problem të vazhdueshëm të vrasjeve brenda familjes ndër vite.
62 gra të vrara nga familjarët në Kosovë që nga viti 2010
Bazuar në regjistrimet e Policisë së Kosovës, numri i grave të privuara nga jeta prej familjarëve të tyre ka arritur në të paktën 62 raste. Ky raportim përfshin harkun kohor duke nisur nga viti 2010 e deri në muajin gusht të vitit 2026, duke pasqyruar një dukuri shqetësuese të dhunës me fatalitet brenda rrethit familjar.
Analiza e shifrave tregon se vitet 2018 dhe 2020 mbajnë numrin më të lartë të viktimave, ku në secilin prej tyre janë shënuar nga shtatë gra të vrara. Gjatë vitit 2010 u dokumentuan gjashtë raste, ndërsa në vitin pasardhës pesë të tillë. Periudha ndërmjet viteve 2012 dhe 2017 pati luhatje vjetore nga një deri në tre raste, ndërkohë që në vitin 2019 u regjistruan pesë vrasje.
Në vitet e fundit statistikat paraqesin shifra të ndryshme: tre gra të vrara gjatë vitit 2021, nga katër gra në vitet 2022 dhe 2023, ndërsa në vitin 2024 u shënuan tri raste. Gjatë vitit 2025 u regjistrua një vrasje e vetme, kurse deri në muajin gusht të vitit 2026 janë evidentuar edhe tri viktima të tjera.
