My favorite thing about FLASH GORDON is Brian Blessed's story about how he got cast as Vultan.
He was in Dino DeLaurentis office and saw a picture of Vultan on someones desk. He grabbed it, stormed into Dino's office, and SLAMMED IT DOWN, proclaiming, "IT'S BLOODY ME!"
