As a retired Waitess
I Love it
🤣🤣🤣

Thing that just happened to me:

Me, my mom and my dad are at an Italian restaurant. We have eaten our pizza and pasta and the lady brings us liquor on the house.

Waitess: *Sets one down for my mom, sets one for for my dad, hands me a chocolate* We don't leave anyone out! :)

I am not surprised by this as this behaviour is normalized within our society.

Once a guy approached me in a cafe because his wife was in the hospital nearby and he wanted that I change the diaper of his child, when I refused because I can not change diapers, he pestered the female barista/waitess.

Is that the corporate email equivalent to saying "You too" to the waitess who tells you "Thanks, come again."?

Waitess: "Would you like some parmesan?"

Me: "yes please"
* opens mouth wider than at the dentist *
