Had a great afternoon visiting Waldameer for the first time. Located in Erie, PA right by the shores of Lake Erie. Just a lovely park with a great atmosphere, and in Ravine Flyer 2 one of the best wooden coasters in the world.

Oh, nice! There's a very similar ride that still exists called Whacky Shack at Waldameer in PA. Same designer and many of the same gags. I rode it a few years ago and it was like time travel back to Bells. Even smelled the same!

Waldameer was definitely the highlight of this vacation. Despite the major sunburn I got, I had a good time with my family

I like to describe this ride as a wooden version of SkyRush: an aggressive ejector air beast complimented with some strong laterals. The setting is also gorgeous, and that jump over the highway is hella iconic.
