In all of TNG, the Enterprise D never actually fights against a Romulan Warbird. The understanding of how horrible that would actually be always prevented it from happening. That is what taking violence in fiction seriously looks like.

"Have you any... darning needles? My embroidery of a Romulan Warbird goes unfinished"

"I try to stay away from the textile arts. They are without..."

"Without?"

"An apparent purpose beyond wasting my time"

Shinzon built the Reman warbird Scimitar to destroy Earth with thalaron radiation; kidnapping Picard was a means to survive and obtain a blood transfusion.

Huh, kind of weird that we haven't gotten a Romulan Warbird in #MTGxStarTrek. I always thought these looked really cool in TNG.

Boyd also covers jets. The Jet Warbird Training Center in Santa Fe uses aircraft such as the L-39 Albatros for training that includes aerobatics and upset recovery.

I just related on a different thread in here how my first roommate in high school had a poster of a Romulan Warbird on our wall.

I’m in two minds on this one - yes and no. A warbird is perfectly entitled to wear a poppy with genuine pride, but that’s a lot of poppy ‘kills’ painted on the fuselage.

My high school roommate was a Dr. Demento fan, and man that just exacerbated my nerdy tendencies.

(Did said roommate also have a poster of a Romular Warbird from TNG on the wall? Yes. Yes he did)

The use of the distinctive Klingon Warbird is also a nice touch here, as obviously it boosts the flavor text, but it's also a nice candidate for perenial raiding

Ackshually, that's a Romulan Warbird

The over reliance on Klingons and Borg as villains is disappointing. Was hoping for a couple more Romulans, especially a Warbird, but otherwise the set looks fun.

I got most of my Blorbos *somewhere* but I was really hoping for a few more Cerritos crew members in particular.

The warbird section caught my attention in Grant Boyd’s “Defying the Ordinary,” published in the November 2026 issue of FLYING Magazine. I usually think of these aircraft at air Show. Boyd writes about the chance to get into the cockpit and learn how to fly them.

For Warbird Wednesday I present several warbirds from the Terre Haute Air Show with some great twilight and sunset colors in the background.

Twilight and night shows are some of my favorite events at air shows. Last year was my first one. I’m hooked on them now.

As of right now, I've read everything pertaining to her up until the point right before she becomes Warbird, which I'll get to that point as I continue reading. I also read all her initial solo comics as well.

Fun fact, Romulans used black holes to power their warp drives not matter/antimatter

While this eliminated the dilithium problem the Feds and Klingons had it, it was ironically less powerful than M/AM thus a Romulan Warbird maxed out at Warp 6 not Wapr 9 as Fed and Klingon vessels could
