yua tidbit just so you know i'm yearning again
an image with various cutouts of a characters eyes, almond shaped eyes of amber hue. most off the images only one eye is visible peeking out through black curly bangs. a text box reads "yua’s eyes aren’t gold, they’re amber. light and transparent, holding on to all they see and preserving. the warm love of the old tree who treasures those that touch its blood. you know?"

drawing a baby for the first time in my life because she's taken over my brain
#wardendraws #wardendraws:yua
sketch of my oc yua holding her baby daughter to her face, blowing a raspberry to make the babe laugh. the little one has her mother's curly black hair but seems to otherwise resemble whoever the other parent is.

[ stains ]
#wardeneater | #wardendraws:yua
image that looks like an old family portrait, showing a woman in a lovely yellow dress sitting and holding a small bundle of a baby, another woman in loose shirt and trousers standing beside her, one hand on her shoulder. the image looks singed around the edges, torn through in places and the details are strange. the standing woman holds a knife behind her back that is dripping blood. the seated woman is coated in blood, a huge gash across her chest. there is a tear out of the page over the standing woman's chest. while the seated one is bloody, it is the standing one who bleeds from the mouth, staring off to one side while the seated stares at her out of the corner of her eye, holding the child tightly to herself. the scene tells of a betrayal, and the one that survived has all the blood on her hands, and their child too; but the baby she holds gently, treasured despite.

guess what time!!! yua dress up gore couture
#wardendraws #wardendraws:yua
drawing of yua, a tall dark woman with freckles wearing a close fit dress that flairs and pools at the knees. the main body of the dress is cream but largely overtaken with blood red staining at the bottom and at the bodice, red vein-like patterning giving it a somewhat flesh look. she wears a corset carven to look like intestines and other assorted innards, the corset design flowing up to the chest where it holds a sculpted anatomical heart with three tiny swords stabbed into it. a blood stained looking hood covers her head and eyes, attached around the shoulders to the top of the heart. she also wears a puffy red mantle down around her elbows and flowing to the ground, her hands painted red and crusted in gems. attached to the corset and hood are strings of red beads to look like dripping blood.

an orange sketch of the poster's character Yua as a jellyfish merperson, her usual short curly hair replaced with the jellyfish head hanging to cover her eyes like her bangs typically do, long tendrils hanging down around a loose kimono that turns into the jellyfish's ruffled tendrils at the ends, the entire figure floaty and suspended on the page. a tiny baby jellyfish hovers next to her, in reference to her baby daughter

[ three betrayals; of family, of love, of self. your dance card is full, dripping red ]
#wardeneater | #wardendraws:yua
a tarot card created with ffxiv’ sim game picture taking tools and some post process editing. the card is the Three of Swords, featuring the poster’s oc Yua wearing an intricate dress whose long flowing panels resemble stained glass; even glowing in the low light of the shot. her hair is short and curly, bangs hanging to cover the eyes. her skin is light brown and covered in freckles and battle scars, her mouth black with stark lipstick. Yua is caught in motion, hands raised as if dancing though with no partner in sight, and three swords pierce her torso from various angles. halo’s in white are drawn overtop the image, framing the figure with added embellishment of vein-like detailing spreading outward

yua fashion whimsy
#wardendraws | #wardendraws:yua
a drawing of a tall woman in a couture outfit. it consists of a high black corset over pleated pants with a sunset gradient lightening towards the ground into a tall pair of black geta. on the upper half he wears a short sheer white jacket and wide pearly hat covered in blue flower. the same blue flowers drip down the veils attached to the hat and line the bottom of the corset and pant windows that leave her hips exposed. her blue winding tattoos are visible on her arm and hip, her face painted with delicate yellow lines same as the last image but just the lineart without color

a study of the bleeding heart
#wardendraws | #wardendraws:yua
image of my oc yua. she stands without clothes but wrapped in a length of yellow semi sheer fabric, with red twine wrapped about her neck and waist. across her chest is a bleeding gash from which white camellia bloom, and arteries lead to the anatomical heart held in her hand which she holds away from herself. the heart is still fully connected, still bleeding, and surrounded by a capillary motif. the arm holding the heart is covered to the shoulder in a blue ink tatto that also extends down her side. text on the canvas reads "bleed. bleed freely. bleed so long as it doesn't stain."

close up on one of the poster's characters as they've recreated them in final fantasy 14. the character has light brown skin speckled generously in darker freckles, and long wavy to curly black hair framing her face and falling down her back. she wears jewelry of bronze and peridot, a spiked ring through her septum and black lipstick stark on her mostly unpainted face apart from two red dots, one under each amber eye. the same character as before, although the lighting and certain features have changed to display a shift in time. her jewelry is similar but her hair has been cut very short, and is far curlier, full bangs hanging down to obscure her eyes. scars litter her skin and the angle makes her face seem more severe
