“Unhealthy for sensitive groups” really burns me up (yes pun intended). All living beings are sensitive to tiny particles (PM2.5) in smoke AND exposure is cumulative. If you have to go outside, wear an N95 mask if possible, and limit your exposure. #wasmoke

12 PM Tuesday Update: Clean northerly winds are keeping most areas west of I-405/SR-167 in moderate to good AQI. Areas to the east significantly worse. Observed temps are remaining below predicted temps due to heavy smoke aloft. #wawx

As expected, the #BearGulchFire has been more active today and producing smoke visible around western Washington. Some may settle overnight, resulting in scattered Moderate air quality. Lake Cushman may see brief periods of Unhealthy air quality overnight. #wawx #wawildfire #wasmoke

We've got a heavy smoke layer now which apparently marinated offshore before coming back inland. Which means it's still smoky smelling, but has than nasty acrid tinge of a fire that's just had water poured on it, which is extra gross. #WAsmoke

Essential especially when it comes extreme weather or smoke
Not a lot of people present the info like he does (or present the info at all really)
WASmoke Blog is another site I find essential, but again expert info on these things isn’t as common as it should be
