Totally -- that would be the one precedent for an acoustic sound source at KORG that then gets fed into a hybrid digital system. (more about digital control on phase8, digital processing on Wavedrum)
Wavedrum is interesting in that it has both sensing and acoustic input!

ウチにあるシンセでKORGのR3っていうmicroKORGよりちょっとガジェット感薄めな奴はヴォコーダー搭載な機種で居て、楽器もう1パート位なら徒歩と電車移動でも持ち運べそうな気はする奴。
同じKORG製品のエレキパーカッションWAVEDRUMとの編成とかKORGの回し者っぽくて良い感じだと思う、普通なバンド編成とも違う事出来そうだし。
