#waywardpoet elinor has kept the habit of sleeping in short bursts multiple times a day from his days as a warder, so usually while it seems he doesn't get enough sleep, he actually just naps a ton lol. but when he Is short of sleep it's not really noticeable, he's just a bit more spacey

finally comes back to this bc recent wolqotd made me remember it, elinor isn't in msq until heavensward. he doesn't even come to eorzea until after the praetorium and well into the arr patches. bc after the praetorium fell and the ultima weapon was destroyed, his village was attacked

funnily enough it was elinor's fear of thunderstorms that brought him and sanson together initially. after guydelot left them both in tailfeather, elinor had to stay there overnight bc of the coming storm, and he was so shaken up by the thunder that even sanson noticed and was like. Are you okay
