We left St. Louis at 11 am. It took two hours to go 75 miles on WB70 to New Florence, where the nice folks at Love's were warning truckers about two-hour delays. The miles-long series of crashes starting around Williamsburg didn't even show on MoDot's map - they were stunned when I called it in.

I've never seen so many crashes during snow - fender benders, cars stuck in drifts, yes. Nothing like what we saw on WB70.
