When do #WeatherRadios stop working so you no longer get #TornadoWarnings? When will there no longer be information on #Hurricaines? Seems like today.
I am now hearing from multiple folks in the past two hours (including some who have personally been fired) that mass firings have now commenced within NOAA--including, yes, at the National Weather Service.

In 1952, they didn't have Doppler radars, WeatherRadios, nor weather satellites to give them a heads-up. 209 died. We don't want to go back. #NotGoingBack

A substantial outbreak of 31 tornadoes struck the Southern US. Eleven tornadoes were rated F4. Two hundred nine fatalities occurred, fifty of which came from an F4 that devastated Judsonia, Arkansas.
