Wilson A2000 XLC fully relaced and also dyed. It can be tricky dying gloves. You have to be very careful not to get any on the trim, welting and patches.

i'm touching grass. like you said. i'm kneeling in the field, tears running down my face as i scrounge in the soil. i'm tearing up handfuls and then i'm pressing my nose to the dirt, welting my cheeks with the snaking patterns of overlapping blades. it's working, i can tell. just a few more handfuls

I've acquired a lot of various threads since to sew uppers, but the long bits are "tapers" of waxed thread for welting/outseaming ($8) and hand wax ($12) plus metal bristles ($3) all from Lisa Sorrel and they are really helpful for the welting/outseaming process

Slapping it often works just as well to alleviate the nerves firing weirdly without as much dermatographia and welting! Or it does for me, at least

I started playing baseball again a few years ago and that led to redoing my own old glove, which led to hunting for cheap sweet old gloves to rehab, and now I’ve redone 19 I think? A few for friends. I had to stop looking for a bit, I need to move some before I can entertain any new ones.

Welting has gone down a bit. The pain feels like the top layer of skin has been rubbed off and someone keeps poking it (it hasn't).
I'm so tired. It was light out when I eventually got to sleep. 🥲

The medical paper tape I used to keep my nicotine patch well secured was supposed to be good for sensitive skin 🙃 there is not an adhesive I can survive.
