Michelle Williams takes my breath away in this film about a girl who loses her dog in the northwest

Probably not gonna be the most showy Film Friday today, but I've always loved the earthy melancholy of Wendy and Lucy (2008). To this day, it's gotta be my favorite from Kelly Reichardt.

The road to Alaska
Is long and it’s bendy
But the route to my heart
You long ago travelled, Wendy

On account of BARKUS i thought id watch a good dog movie 🐶🎥 so threw on Kelly Reichardt’s masterpiece #WendyAndLucy and whew… film’s more anxiety-inducing than Uncut Gems I lasted 35min then put on The Muppets Take Manhattan 😅😭🥺
