For me it was an anthology book that I don’t remember the name of but it had tons of tf stuff in it. What stuck out to me most was a story where the main character gets turned into a wereturtle and then immediately gets hit by a car and dies.

clicked my, 'everyone go the the great hall and you go to quarantine' command to discover that I'd screwed up and /everyone/ went to the great hall. So all I managed to achieve was to give wereturtle a target-rich environment just in time for the full moon. EVERY game has something like that happen

Yes, but it has a comically steep learning curve. So steep that the mistakes you make become part of the mythology of a given settlement. For example, in one game a dwarf got bitten by a wereturtle, so I built a quarantine area for them, and juuust about got it done by the next full moon. So I

Sad that the mutation just went away completely. It would've been so cool if Donnie became a wereturtle. Leatherhead also bonded with him over feeling uncontrollable rage so that could've been explored further. Also just a character development opportunity for the least changed brother.
