After a month away from work, our 2 kelpies were beside themselves with enthusiasm to get stuck into some mustering and yard work.
Lambs were weaned and drenched, ewes’ hooves were trimmed while they were still soft. 2 tired & contented dogs tonight

Mother appreciates the value afforded by their “lunch club” menu and dad enjoys the generous parking bays.

San Clemente Island goats are considered to be multipurpose. When I ran my farmstead business, I made goat milk soap and made cheese for myself. I was milking 6-8 does a day during the warm months. I have butchered extra bucks and wethers in the past.

I'm a little careful about the bucks. They will gang up on you and nip at you sometimes. Or shove or butt you. I don't want to get between them and their food. I'm also a little compromised right now but depending on the vibe, maybe an idea for a future photo 😊especially with does wethers and kids.
