It’s almost a white Christmas here in Whakatū, but it’s not snow. Kānuka (Kunzea ericoides) is in full flower. Meri Kirihimete katoa. 🌱🇳🇿

Any typos spotted in this post were incredibly chuffed by how well the Romance Novel Writing workshop went last night for Beautiful Words. If typos spotted, they'll be gearing up for a big launch party tomorrow. If you're in Whakatū Nelson, why not come say hi at 5:30pm, Thursday 3rd, Project 100❤️

If you want a good news story about kids lunches just look to iwi. Ngāti Rārua ki Te Tauihu are feeding Nelson/Whakatū kids healthy food without all the drama.
Local solutions. Iwi led. Kids with exclusions and special needs catered to. All possible.
