I just think a critical mass of Whedonverse and Harry Potter fandoms were LGBTQ+ — emphasis on the Q — and those critical masses are never coming back to make those fandoms thrive again.

Good stuff here. Lots already written about Madonna/whore hangups in the Whedonverse, but this connects some dots for me about how the lack of *any* healthy framework for sex kind of infects the larger dynamics.

Dawn was the second-worst thing to happen in the Whedonverse, after Cordelia’s final arc in Angel.
Watching an actor grow up with you really makes you aware of your own mortality. While I won’t exactly miss Dawn, I’ll certainly miss Michelle. Such a shitty, sad loss. 😢
