But firearm technology is stuck at 1400s & 1600s levels. Flintlocks & wheellocks & such. I wanted to justify swords being the default weapon. So bye-bye modern guns.

Takeaways from this run: Organ guns and cannons and wheellocks are FUN (not for the reciever)! The new heraldry tabards and banners are real nice! Not intentional probably, but you can set up outposts and keep pawns + have shipments on each colony reset for the quest...

Yeah if they have clocks they have no excuse not to have cool wheellocks (my favourite obsolete firearm mechanism). Though I do wonder - do they not have cannons? Do sailing ships ever feature in the game, and if so how are they armed?
