When photo shooting new diner ware, fancy and bright, I added a peacock feather and some lychees to the sight.

A little bit of creekside Impressionism. I really love painting and drawing gnarly roots. Still messing with this one a little bit.

"The proposed legislation from Chairman Frank Whiteclay would alter things so that all existing members would be considered as having 100% Crow “blood.”"

I followed the sordid story of Whiteclay for a while). Shortly after the four stores closed, some of the business reportedly moved to Rushville, for those who could find transportation. The Whiteclay sales on a per capita basis for those living at Pine Ridge were astonishing.

Magic Card of the Day: Order of Whiteclay

I understand why the untap symbol has not made a return but it’s such a great design space. It means you have to often risk an attack to activate. I think it’s flavorful this Kithkin bring back other copies of itself. The order cannot be extinguished! #mtg

"Crow and blood quantum"

"Whiteclay, whose term as chairman ends in 2028 and who cannot run again because of term limits, said he proposed the legislation to “break a cycle of lost enrollment” and to improve the lives of members and descendants."

ICYMI: Whiteclay grew in importance as people learned of a former nurse who fostered more than 200 children, many from the reservation, who suffered from fetal alcohol syndrome. Now she needs help.

I don't know this woman but I do know the story of Whiteclay and if she's willing to take on the challenge of adopting all these kids, I'm willing to give her some cash to help and maybe you are too.

"Whiteclay said when he took office as chairman in 2020, the tribe had about 14,600 members. Five years later, that number has declined by at least 311 people."

Yeah, Whiteclay is an example because it uses alcohol to cause indigenous people to self harm. There may be other examples and better examples, but I used this because it leads to another point I want to make about politicians using the argument that a victim of autogenocide has "free will"... 1/2
