#Wickedthemovie and #wickedforgood are such visually stunning movies. It's amazing all that came from #Wicked #wickedthebook which only had chapter art.

Analysis of the Wicked film versus the book. What do you think? I have not read the book, but I saw the play many years ago. I plan to go see the movie this week!

Not a “pretty” book. It is dark and thought provoking. What is troubling me 2/3rds of the way through: so many citizens were seduced by the authoritarian dictator’s lies and promises. The dehumanizing of part of the productive population was effective. Not sure I will like the ending.

Why Wicked the Book Isn’t for Kids: FYI for Fans of the Musical or the Film 🎭📚

What I'm reading, Wicked, by Gregory Maguire. I found this book years ago at a used book store. This was the first Broadway show we took our daughter to see. And, now, we can't wait to see the movie. I think now is a good time to start this book.

For those that have actually read Wicked the book, do you find it odd that a book written 30 years ago about The wizard of freaking Oz is so parallel to what's going on now?
